A session with me is about more than just photos. Whether you are looking to capture images for your significant other or simply for yourself, you will walk away from your shoot feeling stronger, gorgeous and more confident than you have in years. Your session will be fully customized based on your unique style and needs.
We’ll begin with a pre-session consultation after you book. We will meet in person (or chat via Skype) so you can get to know me and I can better understand how to tell your story. We will discuss details on how you would like to display your images and brainstorm ideas for your session so that I can make sure that you are getting the beauty experience that is perfect for you.
When your session date arrives, you will begin your confidence-boosting journey with professional hair and makeup by one of my team members. This mini-makeover is included complimentary in all of my sessions because I feel it is an integral part of the beauty/boudoir experience. Skilled professionals will work with you to provide camera-ready hair and makeup that suits your features and style preferences.
Once you’re feeling red-carpet ready, you will begin your session with me. It is perfectly natural to feel a little nervous at first but you’ll find that shyness melt away as I expertly guide you into poses and angles that flatter your shape–all while we listen (and possibly take a dance break) to your favorite playlist! Singing is completely optional but I promise not to judge if you suddenly belt out the chorus to your favorite song! Sessions typically last a couple of hours to give you plenty of time for wardrobe changes to capture the looks that you want.
Following your session, I will begin the process of hand-selecting only the very best images of you from your shoot. I will retouch each one to ensure that it looks amazing when printed. These images will be presented to you in your in-person purchasing consultation approximately 14 days after your session. All products are available a la carte so that you can order only the products and images that you really love. Most women invest about $2000 in their sessions and payment plans are available.
Your comfort during our session is my top priority. This is precisely why I work with an all-female staff so you need not worry about any men being present during your shoot. All of the images seen on my website, social media or marketing materials have been used with the explicit permission of the women in those images. While I hope that you love your images so much that you will allow me to share them with women just like you who want to have that same experience, your images will not be shared without your permission (and a signed model release). I will never sell them to a third-party. Ever.
I understand that this morning you may have driven your children to school in your pajamas. I know that last week you may have locked yourself in your bedroom closet to sneak a candy bar because, for five minutes, you wanted a little “me time” and, frankly, you just didn’t feel like sharing that chocolate. I get that tomorrow you’ll have to go to work, smile until it hurts and juggle 30 different tasks like the rockstar that you are–even if sometimes it seems like nobody else notices. And I completely understand that the last time you felt gorgeous was your wedding day…and you’re about to celebrate your 20th anniversary. I really do get it.
You want to do this because you want photos that are modern and don’t give you flashbacks of the ’80s. You want to feel glamorous and sexy but you don’t want to strip down to your skivvies in front of some weird guy with a camera and “studio” in his garage. I understand.
I want to give you the chance to see yourself in a different light. Many women feel empowered after their session and you can feel and look amazing regardless of age, body shape or the fact that dinner consisted of cold leftovers eaten over the kitchen sink after you put the kiddos to bed–for the third time tonight.
